Miriam Mirri's formal style full of affection and allusions to the "children's language" unfolds here in an object dedicated to our four-legged friends.

After attending the High School of Anatomical Drawing and Design, she studied design and communication at the Università del Progetto. She collaborated with various studios again Branson-Coates Architecture Office in London. In 2000, she began as a freelance designer and designed items for the table, accessories for animal care, and much more. She worked with Alessi, MandarinaDuck, Henkel, Seiko, etc. She participated in national and international exhibitions, such as The New Italian Design, Triennale of Milan; among others. Until 2001, she held design workshops at the Università del Progetto and at the Domus Academy, presenting her work in some design schools.

The company
Opened in 1921 as a "technical workshop for the processing of brass and nickel silver plates, with foundry", Alessi has always been known for the high quality of its products.
Over the course of almost a century, it has gradually become a top representative of Italian design smiths, applying its outstanding competences and expertise in the field of design management to very different product types.
The company is open to change and international developments, but at the same time firmly rooted in the tradition and cultural heritage of its environment. Alessi is still synonymous with objects that impress with their craftsmanship but are made with the help of machines.

Alessigrafia, or the geography of Alessi production
The majority of Alessi objects are still made in Italy and by cold working metal – since the founding in 1921 – which is the responsible of the experienced employees in Crusinallo di Omegna.
Over time, Alessi has also included other materials such as porcelain, glass, wood and plastic in the program and each developed a special manufacturing method. Even for external production, outside the factory in Crusinallo, Alessis guidelines ensure the same high quality standards as in-house, always conveying between technical-industrial complexity and attention to the craftsmanship details.
The non-metal objects are manufactured at different production sites worldwide. They are and will remain original Alessi objects, because they are based on the same high-profile design approach and the same pursuit of quality that characterise all of the company's products.
