Supplementary feed for poultry vitamin A from beaphar is a vitamin (not water-soluble), suitable for canaries, budgies, cockatiels and parrots that indicate a lack of vitamin A. In nature, psic acids are often fed with foods rich in vitamin. In general, the seeds for psic acids contain very little vitamin A, which is why it is necessary to add vitamin A to the feed. Recessive white canaries cannot convert vitamin A from pro-vitamin A, so more vitamin A needs to be added to the diet. Symptoms indicating vitamin A deficiency in: • Canaries (especially in recessive white canaries): - Poor incubation results. • Budgies, Parrots and Cockatiels: Nasal congestion and swollen upper eyelids, often accompanied by severe lacrimation and in severe cases gluing of the eyelids. - Swelling between and behind the branches of the lower jaw (which indicates swollen salivary glands) - Impairment of mucous membranes of the mouth, throat and respiratory tract.
