What is deShedding?

A FURminator deShedding Tool removes significantly more loose hair than a conventional comb or brush.

When brushing, the topcoat is primarily removed from knots and dirt. DeShedding removes not only dead top hair, but also loose undercoat.

How does it work?

Use the tool 1-2 times a week for 10-20 minutes each for dry coat.

Remove knots and tangles before using the deShedding tool with the FURminator adjustable detangler or rake comb from the coat. Use the tool like a brush and drive gently in the direction of growth through the coat of your pet. The stainless steel tines should be tilted towards the coat. Start at the head of your pet and work back through, be careful in sensitive areas, such as the stomach. The undercoat taken from the blade can be easily removed from the tool with the practical push button.
