Our sisal rope is made of natural sisal. It is the smell of plants, with a thin layer of anti-moth treatment on the surface. After receiving the product, place the rope in a ventilated place for a week, and the smell will gradually dissolve.

There are 2 ways to do this repair on a scratching post:

You can make a secure knot at the bottom of the tube of the post and then wind the rope tightly around the tube. This should end in another fixed knot to finish. Or for this you also need to buy/use a hot glue gun. Attach the end of the rope to the bottom of the cardboard tube, this should be placed on the hot glue. A good dose of glue must be used at the beginning and at the end to cover the beginning and end 360° around the neck. If you are satisfied with the appearance, cut off the rope and let it dry for a night.
