- Glucosaminoglucans chondroitin sulphate and glucosamine (GAG's) are important cartilage building materials needed for water binding capacity and elasticity. Hyaluronic acid is the main component of joint fluid. Bromeliad powder contains numerous proteolytic enzymes. Methyl sulfonyl-methane (MSM) is an organic sulphur compound which is an important component of collagen. Willow bark contains salicin, which is converted into salicylic acid in the body. Devil's Claw and Boswellia provide valuable secondary plant substances.
