About Tetra
Tetra is the worldwide leader in the aquarium industry and one of the most important manufacturers of garden pond products. Company founder was Dr. Rer. nat. Ulrich Baensch, who developed the first flock food for ornamental fish in 1955: TetraMin. In over 60 years of history, the aim has always been to make aquariums easier, safer and more user-friendly.
Feed fresh - like mother nature
As the range of animal and vegetable food is quite carrot in most garden ponds, additional food should be fed. Tetra uses a lot of research energy to get the recipes from Mother Nature to optimally match the needs of pond inhabitants. The food not only contains everything that fish need, but is also protected by opaque and sealed packaging.
- Biologically balanced diet
- Optimal feed utilisation
- Healthy growth
- Increased resistance
- Clear water
- Less algae
The special thing about the pond sticks
They are an ideal main food for all pond fish and contain all essential nutrients, fibre and minerals as well as trace elements and vitamins for an all-around biologically balanced diet. The unique formula prevents nutritional defects. The sticks are quickly softened for easy feeding and are well digestible.
What's special about the Pond Sticks Mini
As the name suggests, the Pond Sticks Mini bring with it all the benefits of the pond sticks – only for smaller garden pond fish. They ensure easy absorption and high digestibility.
The special thing about Tetra garden pond food
The BioActive formula is a carefully balanced blend of immune stimulators, high quality energy suppliers and vital vitamins that give the fish more resistance, energy and vitality. In addition, they lead to very little waste and thus contribute to an excellent water quality and clarity.
Digital water test
Test water values in the garden pond quickly and safely - easily with the smartphone. The app helps to analyse the most important water values. Simply use the Tetra liquid or strip test.

Feeding tips
The amount of food required by your fish depends on the water temperature. Observe the feed intake and adjust the feeding accordingly. As a rule of thumb: Feed only as much as your fish can eat in 3 to 4 minutes. Then always remove all food residue.
How often you feed your fish daily, it also depends on the water temperature and of course how much time you spend at home. Most of the time of the year 2 to 3 feedings per day are sufficient. During the winter rest, when the temperature drops below 5°, you do not need to feed your fish.
