The Catit Pixi fountain provides your cat with a never-ending source of fresh, purified water. The Pixi offers multiple drinking options to attract fussy drinkers: gentle water flow, water flow (with nozzle head) and bubbling water. The integrated drip catcher helps lost water drops back into the reservoir. Pixi’s small nose is an illuminated water level indicator and with a water level indicator of this quality, you will not miss how much water is left. Fill the reservoir until the water level reaches the tip of the whiskers, marking the maximum capacity of the reservoir. The pump is equipped with a sensor that detects when the water level is too low. At this point, the fountain automatically switches off to prevent the pump from running dry. Pixi’s nose will also flash red if the water level inside the reservoir is too low. As soon as the water reservoir is refilled, the fountain starts to bubble again. As the drinking fountain pump is hung in the water, the vibrations against the reservoir are low and there is virtually no noise. While wear and tear cause pumps to become louder over time, our features a durable ceramic bearing that runs smoothly and silently. Thanks to the bowl at the front, your cat has access to water at all times, even when the fountain is switched off. The drinking surface is wide and flat, so that your cat's sensitive whiskers are not exposed to any strain. The fountain also contains a filter that cleans your cat's drinking water in three ways. First, the cotton fabric filters out the dirt. The activated carbon then removes odours and impurities. And finally, the ion exchange resin makes tap water softer.
