At birth, kittens weigh about 100 g and double their weight weekly in the first months of life. For this growth, they need a lot of nutrients and energy. With their small mouths, teeth and bellies, young cats can eat and digest less food per meal. However, since a kitten needs a diet specifically designed for growth, each individual bite must be packed with easily digestible proteins.

1. Vitality.
Your cat loves and needs regular exercise. It is exposed to a number of environmental influences and needs strong natural defences to protect it. High-quality, easily digestible food ingredients as well as some special ingredients such as the antioxidant vitamin E support the natural defences of your cat day after day. Antioxidants are important because they counteract excessive ageing processes of body cells and strengthen the immune system of your older cat.
2. Digestion.
In order to make cats feel comfortable all the way around, it requires a food that provides highly digestible protein, for example chicken, lamb or fish, as well as carbohydrates, fats, vitamins and minerals. Furthermore, cats need a certain type and amount of fibres such as the prebiotics FOS (fructooligosaccharides), which support digestion and contribute to a healthy digestive tract.
3. Urinary tract.
Some cats are prone to urinary tract diseases, while others have no problem with it. Struvite urinary stones are most common in cats. These are made from various minerals including magnesium.
