Instructions for use: 1.) Observe your pet's claws and care for them appropriately to avoid overgrowth. 2.) When your pet is standing, the claws should not touch the ground. Regular care is important for your pet's health and well-being. 3.) Slowly guide your pet to the claw grinder. After it gets used to the care tool and the noise, you can start nail care. 4.) First, apply gentle pressure on the top of the paw and the paw ball at the bottom to allow your pet to extend its claws. 5.) If your pet has bright claws, pay close attention to the transition where the claws turn pink. This is the nail bed - that's where the nerves and blood vessels end. Injuries in this sensitive area cause pain and bleeding. The LED light helps you recognize the nail bed. 6.) If your pet has dark claws and you can't see the nail bed, just grind the outermost tip of the claw - you will need to grind the claws more often, but this is the only way to avoid injury to the nail bed. 7.) Grind the claws gently and slowly to make your pet feel comfortable. Remove the sharp tip by sanding approximately to the middle between the end of the nail bed and the tip of the paw. Short passes are recommended to avoid overheating of the claws, which may feel uncomfortable for the pet.
