Julius ist die deutsche Version des ungarischen Vornamens Gyula, der Erfinder der ersten Power-Geschirre (das K9 Power Geschirr wurde 1997 gegründet und seine verbesserte Version IDC Power im Jahr 2007)

K9 wird auf Englisch gesprochen, also wie das Wort "Hund". Die 9 ist auch die Fetischzahl von Julius Sebö: Als er seinen ersten Hund adoptierte, lebte er in der Kele Street 9 in Budapest. Und das Unternehmen hatte seinen ersten Sitz an der 9 Rue Langobarden in Wien.
