Kerbl Pet - Bowls & Water Dispenser for the Dog
With the bowls and water dispensers from Kerbl Pet there is something for every taste. Whether a functional and robust stainless steel bowl for everyday use or high-quality and tasteful ceramic bowl - at Kerbl Pet you will find just the right food or water bowl for your four-legged friend.

Why does the dog need a bowl?
A dog bowl is essential to providing your dog with a clean and hygienic way to consume food and water. It ensures that the food is in a permanent place and reduces the risk of pollution and pests. In addition, a suitable bowl supports the correct posture of the dog when eating and drinking.

What dog bowls are there?
Stainless steel bowls: Robust, durable and easy to clean. Ceramic bowls: Heavy, sturdy and often available in decorative designs. Plastic bowls: Lightweight and cheap, but less durable. Anti-slinging bowls: Specially designed to prevent hasty eating. Travel bowls: Foldable and lightweight for travel.

How big should the dog bowl be?
The size of the dog bowl should be based on the size and eating behaviour of your dog. A small dog needs a smaller bowl, while a large dog needs a correspondingly larger bowl. The bowl should provide enough space for the dog to eat comfortably, but not so large that the food is lost in it.

Should the dog bowl stand elevated?
A raised dog bowl can be beneficial for some dogs, especially large dogs or dogs with joint problems. It makes eating and drinking easier as the dog has less to bend down, which reduces strain on the neck and spine. However, you should discuss this with your veterinarian, as there are also dogs that can cope better with a normal, non-elevated bowl.

Note:
A dog bowl ensures clean and hygienic food intake and minimises the risk of dirt and pests. There are a variety of bowls to choose from that meet your dog's individual needs and preferences. The bowl size should be adapted to the size and feeding behaviour of the dog. A raised bowl can be particularly beneficial for large dogs or dogs with joint problems, but should be chosen in consultation with the vet.
