Natural ornamental fish nutrition with insect flour
The topic of sustainability is becoming increasingly important in aquariums. For the sera feed is used, for example, fishmeal from sustainable fishing as well as MSC-certified krill. For the first time, the sustainable ingredient insect flour is also used: the natural food varieties Vipan Nature and Goldy Nature contain 4% or 5% of protein rich flour. Insect flour is very digestible for ornamental fish and meets the nutritional requirements of the animals.
Sera Nature: Natural ornamental fish food without colourants and preservatives
The natural ingredients are important
A high-quality food is the basis and not only beneficial to health, but also digestion. If the fish digest a food well, this also leads to a reduction in water pollution and thus to better living conditions and permanently clear water. Vital substances such as Vitamins, pigments, antioxidants, complex secondary plant substances as well as pre- and probiotics are beneficial and essential substances that enrich a food.

Insect flour as a high-quality, sustainable protein source
Both Vipan Nature and Goldy Nature contain insect flour that corresponds to the natural food spectrum of ornamental fish. There are also other good reasons for the use of insect flour in ornamental fish food: The protein-rich flour, derived from the soldier fly (Hermetia illucens), is very digestible for ornamental fish and has a nutritional profile. In addition, the production of insect flour is particularly resource-friendly.
Insect flour is very digestible for ornamental fish and meets the nutritional requirements of the animals. It is also characterised by a very good amino acid profile and therefore by a high biological usability. Insect flour is not only a high-quality, but also a particularly sustainable source of protein: for the rearing of insects, little area, water and food is required.

Carotenoid rich krill for natural colour development
The two treats GVG-Mix Nature and Marin GVG-Mix Nature as well as San Nature are characterised by an increased krill content. Krill not only promotes colour development, but also increases the acceptance, vitality and spawning readiness of ornamental fish. These properties make Krill an ideal ingredient for colouring food such as the new San Nature. The two treats GVG-Mix Nature and Marin GVG-Mix Nature are rich in natural minerals as well as trace elements such as iodine and promote the health and fertility of ornamental fish.
The topic of sustainability is becoming increasingly important in aquariums. For the sera feed is used, for example, fishmeal from sustainable fishing as well as MSC-certified krill.
