Fish is not equal to fish.

For ground-living fish such as catfish and loaches, Tetra offers tablet food and wafer that sink directly to the bottom of the aquarium. The animals should be fed as possible in the evening, just before the light goes out in the aquarium, so that fish from the upper and middle areas do not eat the food.

Plant freser (Herbivore).

They have a much longer intestine than the other fish and can therefore digest food with a higher fibre content. Tetra has developed Pleco Wafers especially for plant-living herbivores. The 100% premium vegetable food contains vital fibre for healthy digestion. The wafers are characterised by their dimensional stability, so that the essential nutrients are retained until the last bite in the food.

Tetra Pleco Spirulina Wafers: Contains a high protein content from the Spirulina algae - for the special nutritional needs of algae grazing fish.

2-colour tablets and wafer

Wafer and tablets have been developed for the fish living at the bottom. Both variations can be stored well in hidden places - so that even shy fish can eat undisturbed.

The 2-colour manufacturing process always offers another benefit, e.g. for colour enhancement or to support vitality. Tablets decay on the floor, on the other hand, wafer are very dimensionally stable and thus retain their ingredients for a longer period of time.
