Fresh meat and high protein content
With fresh meat as the main ingredient and over 50% animal ingredients, the bulk of calorie content in our low fat formulas is covered by protein (33%) rather than fat, according to the physiology of the dog. Protein provides the necessary energy and supports a slim figure and healthy muscles.

100% grain-free, gluten-free and low carbohydrates
We believe that formulas with a low percentage of grain-free carbohydrates are the best for our dogs. Too high a carbohydrate content can lead to indigestion as the dog's short digestive tract is not aligned with it. We use full-fledged, grain-free carbohydrates from cartolaloes, fruits and vegetables. These serve as an energy source and contain crude fibre that supports digestion.
For sensitive digestion: No artificial additives
All Wellness Core formulas are without artificial colours, flavour enhancers or fillers and contain only 1-2, clearly definable animal protein sources. Therefore, they are a good choice for allergy sufferers or sensitive dogs. The pre- and probiotics contained also support the natural intestinal flora of the digestive tract.
Healthy weight management thanks to low fat and L-carnitine
A low fat content, low grain-free carbohydrates and lots of meat: Wellness Core Low Fat has 30% less fat than Wellness Core Original. We keep protein levels high as animal protein such as chicken or turkey supports the development of healthy, lean muscles and keeps body fat low.
We also add L-carnitine to our Healthy Weight formulas, an amino acid that boosts fat loss.

Our Wellness Core Adult Low Fat is grain-free and high in protein and contains fresh turkey as the main ingredient. The natural formula contains high-quality animal protein and a unique blend of healthy vegetables and superfoods, leaving out fillers and grains.
With 30% less fat than Wellness Core Adult Original and fewer calories, it naturally helps dogs achieve and maintain their ideal weight, maintaining healthy energy levels and lean muscles. In addition, this food is available in a small breed formula and a medium to large breed formula so that every dog can enjoy our dry food.

An adapted feeding recommendation
Because we know how important it is to feed your dog the right amount, we adapt our feeding recommendation to each of our products.
For our Wellness Core Low Fat we recommend per day:
Dog 2-10 kg: 45 g - 145 g. Dog 10-30 kg: 145 g - 330 g. Dog 30-50 kg: 330 g - 480 g. Dog 50-70 kg: 480 g - 620 g. Dog 70-80 kg: 620 g - 685 g
For dogs over 80 kg, add 25 g each additional 5 kg dog weight. Each dog is different, so the optimal amount of food depends on age, size, activity, breed and living conditions. Divide the amount per day by the number of meals. Please use this information only as an initial recommendation and adapt it to the individual needs of your dog. Always provide fresh, clean water.
