JBL PRONOVO BETTA INSECT STICK
Quality is the top priority for a healthy diet of aquarium inhabitants. JBL PRONOVO BETTA INSECT STICK is a floating fish food that contains the highest quality ingredients such as insects, shrimps, salmon and squid. This leads to high acceptance and good digestibility. When feeding, it is important for combat fish that the composition is adapted to their natural diet. JBL PRONOVO BETTA as a flake or granules forms the basic nutrition. As a supplement, JBL PRONOVO BETTA INSECT is designed to offer variety. Astaxanthin is included in all three JBL combat fish feeds, which leads to strong colour formation in the fish. It is a natural carotene derived from krill and spirulina.
For combat fish
In themselves, combat fish are peaceful aquarium inhabitants and can cope with all fish that do not fit in their mouths. Only species-identical males are fought until death - hence the name! The long-lasting combat fish in our zoo shops come from the type Betta Splendens, which is also used in Asia for fish fights. They live in both standing and running waters.
Battle fish are lurk hunters who quickly shoot out with their upper mouth, e.g. insects that are on the surface of the water. They do not eat aquarium plants and do not need much space. The water values are not really crucial for combat fish. They prefer soft water and pH values between 6.5 and 7.5, but also come clear with other values.
