Aquarium fish are the type of pet that can be easily cared for for owners during a weekend or holiday trip Especially with goldfish, this is no problem at all. For a weekend or longer holidays, the aquarium owner has the choice: Either he feeds JBL PRONOVO HOLIDAY RED or he uses a feeder (JBL AUTOFOOD), which is filled with his preferred feed granules. Most aquarium fish, except young fish, would even go without food for one and two days - as in nature. But then many aquarium owners get a bad conscience and therefore there is also JBL PRONOVO HOLIDAY RED for a short absence.
Made from a calcium compound
The food blocks in the JBL Pronovo Holiday Red are made from a natural calcium compound that slowly dissolves when the fish "nibble" on it. The calcium is even positive for many aquariums as it supplies some calcium to the water (total hardness/GH).
Feed fish by the neighbours?
Be careful when asking neighbors to feed your fish! Many people then mean it too good and overfeed massively! Then large amounts of food lie uneaten on the aquarium floor and spoil. This leads to problems with oxygen content and toxic nitrite, which then forms. A holiday food or a feeder (or aquarium as neighbours) are the better way!
