Fluval C Series clip-on filters are the world's first and only 5-stage aquarium filters that manage to make aquarium water even purer and cleaner than ever before. Stage 1 (mechanical filtering): the porous foam traps large particles of dirt. Stage 2 (mechanical filtering): The dense polyester layer filters out fine impurities. Level 3 (chemical filtering): The activated carbon adsorbs unwanted odors, discoloration and impurities. Stage 4 (biological filtering): the bio sieve prevents dirt particles from entering the biological level. Stage 5 (biological filtering): The biological droplets chamber with C bio-nodes ensures oxygen enrichment and thus rapid reduction of toxic ammonia and nitrite. Features: All filter media are already included. Suitable for aquariums: 150 to 265 litres. Pump capacity: 900 litres per hour. Power: 5 watts. An optical cleaning indicator appears as soon as the poly/foam insert needs to be cleaned.
